Visconti Homo Sapiens Dark Age

Visconti Homo Sapiens Dark Age

In 2010 the fountain pen field was shaken by a breakthrough both in terms of design and materials: we introduced the original Homo Sapiens Bronze. Carved from pure basaltic lava and enriched with resin materials, the pen enveloped the strenght of ancient powers, juxtaposing its volcanic nature to a soft and smooth writing experience thanks to its Dreamtouch 23Kt Palladium nib. This award-winning writing tool was followed by the Homo Sapiens Steel Age which in turn issued steel trims.
Five years has passed since then, still the Homo Sapiens is one of Visconti's very signatures. Virtually unbreakable and naturally hygroscopic, the Homo Sapiens comes now in its "Dark Age" version, symbolizing Middle Age's mysticism and its turmoil.
The metal trims have gone through a super resistant rutenium PVD treatment; their glossy black look and the peculiar contrast they create against the matte gray pen's body color makes the pen elegant and modern. The Homo Sapiens Dark Age is the perfect offspring of Middle Age's ancient mysteries with Man's creativity and progress.
The Homo Sapiens Bronze Age collection features fountain pen, rollerball, ballpoint and pencil versions. The fountain pen issues a 23 kt Dreamtouch Palladium nib while sporting a Visconti patented Power Filler (oversize version) or a piston filler (regular version).
