Secret messages are enclosed in the marble and silver of this elegant fountain pen which celebrates the thousandth anniversary of the famous San Miniato al Monte basilica in Florence.

Craftsmanship
The pen’s body and cap are sculpted out of a solid marble block. Once it has been shaped by CNC machines, it passes through the gifted hands of our talented artisans that finish off the piece without breaking the stone. The pen is polished by hand with the same techniques used to polish crystal.
Clip and packaging
The shape of a wine glass appears at the centre of the octagram. The effect is enhanced by the clip’s glass stem shape made with a lost wax micro fusion technique.
The scenographic box, decorated with elegant engravings of the San Miniato abbey and the Visconti logo on metal plates, slides open to reveal a pen holder made of olive wood. Delicate engravings of the abbey and its symbols adorn the wood’s surface.
