Writing Instruments Warranty

For any other defects in material and workmanship, Visconti products are warranted for a period of two years from the date of purchase. Damages due to misuse by the user and/or resulting from normal wear and tear are not covered by this warranty.

This warranty is valid only if you provide a copy of the sales receipt certifying your purchase from an authorized Visconti retailer (NB: Amazon and EBay are not authorized retailers), stamped and signed by the retailer on the Pen Warranty Information Sheet. For fountain pens, Visconti offers a free replacement of the nib within 30 days of purchase, if the nib is not damaged; shipping costs are charged to the customer.

For writing instruments that are no longer in production but are still under warranty, the company reserves the right to use spare parts available in different colors/finishes. In case the spare parts are not available, the company will replace the pen with a writing instrument of equivalent price (evaluated by the company) from the current collection at a 75% discount.

In case the spare parts are not available in the same color of the pen but in different colors, the following options will be proposed for the repair:

  • Free of charge, if the pen is still under warranty and considered faulty (not damaged);
  • Paid repairs if the pen is damaged or is out-of-warranty 
For limited collections / HRH:

If possible, the rate specified in the customer service price list is automatically applied. For repairs of out-of-warranty pens, a quote will be sent to the customer after checking the product at our laboratories (repair quotations are processed only for amounts higher than 60 euro); the writing instruments will be repaired only with customer's approval. If consent is not given, the instrument will be returned and the customer will only be liable for the shipping charges.

  • Store of purchase: Name, City
  • Customer Data: Name, Surname, Address, Phone number and E-mail
  • For each item to be repaired: the warranty (if any), name or code of the product, a description and picture of the parts to be repaired.

Please note that shipping costs will be paid by the customer.
