This outstanding fountain pen is a Limited Edition of 323 pieces worldwide, to recall the date of the great warrior-statesman’s passing.

DESCRIPTION

The pen’s body is oversized, made of resin and bronze and houses a power filler filling system. The closure is screw lock, while the 18kt gold nib is yellow gold plated. The pen comes with a suggestive desk set depicting Alexander on his famous war-horse Bucephalus, whose taming taught the young Alexander the tenacity necessary for the creation of his immense empire.

Deliveries are guaranteed from Monday to Friday, excluding bank holidays.

Non-EU countries are not subject to IVA/VAT payment on purchases. As soon as payment is authorised, orders will be dispatched within 5 working days.

Returns and refunds

You can return any product purchased on our eCommerce within 10 days from the date of delivery of the goods, as provided for by articles 64 – 67 of Legislative Decree no. 206/2005, known as the Italian Consumer Code.
The right to return a product is totally void if the returned product

• is not intact, for the absence, for example, of integral elements of the product (box, warranty and various attachments)
• has been damaged for reasons other than transport from the shop to the consumer and not previously reported

Products personalised with the MyPenSystem can also be returned.
Returns can only be sent from the country from which the order was placed.

If your return does not meet the above criteria, we will not be able to provide a refund and the package will be sent back to your address. If you would like more information on the conditions for exercising the right of withdrawal, please consult our legal area.
All costs resulting from the return of the product shall be borne by the Customer.

Product information

All Visconti products are made in Italy by our skilful craftsmen in our Florence workshops.

Each product undergoes manual processing and is therefore slightly different from others. Each piece we produce is therefore one of a kind.

WISHLIST

MATERIALS

The pen has a cylindrical shape, with the ends tapering to a section reminiscent of Greek columns. The map of Alexander the Great’s empire, created with the scrimshaw technique and subsequently colored, is shown on the barrel and the cap. The metal fittings are in aged bronze and feature typical Greek decorations. On the central ring there is the inscription reading “Alexander the Great” and in the bronze band on the shaft there is a gilded silver plate depicting Alexander’s face. In homage to the Macedonian phalanx, the clip, also in aged bronze, is spear-shaped and displays a gilded silver shield depicting the sun, Alexander the Great’s family crest.
