Dedicated to one of the world’s most influential Italian scientists and intellectuals, this fountain pen embodies Visconti’s continuous research in the fields of technology and design.

DESCRIPTION

With this fountain pen Visconti gives birth to a brand new patented filling system, the Galileo Double Filler. This system offers the same capacity as the historic Power Filler Double Reservoir, but provides an additional cover around the ink tank as well as a double closure system, with both screw and hook safe locks. This makes the pen secure against accidental leaks of ink. This novelty is also reflected in the unique design of the pen, which allows a dual functionality: the double stain-proof ink tank and the hook safe lock opening inspired by the historical Galilean telescopes. All this makes the new limited edition dedicated to Galileo Galilei unique, blending tradition and innovation together.

Deliveries are guaranteed from Monday to Friday, excluding bank holidays.

Non-EU countries are not subject to IVA/VAT payment on purchases. As soon as payment is authorised, orders will be dispatched within 5 working days.

Returns and refunds

You can return any product purchased on our eCommerce within 10 days from the date of delivery of the goods, as provided for by articles 64 – 67 of Legislative Decree no. 206/2005, known as the Italian Consumer Code.
The right to return a product is totally void if the returned product

• is not intact, for the absence, for example, of integral elements of the product (box, warranty and various attachments)
• has been damaged for reasons other than transport from the shop to the consumer and not previously reported

Products personalised with the MyPenSystem can also be returned.
Returns can only be sent from the country from which the order was placed.

All costs resulting from the return of the product shall be borne by the Customer.

Product information

All Visconti products are made in Italy by our skilful craftsmen in our Florence workshops.

Each product undergoes manual processing and is therefore slightly different from others. Each piece we produce is therefore one of a kind.

MATERIALS

Demo resin is a recurring element of this collection which also appears in the section and in the cap, providing a view of the 18kt gold palladium-plated nib. The decorative elements of the pen recall the Baroque craftsmanship of Galileo’s time. In particular, thanks to the variety of materials used, antiqued vermeil and polished palladium, a subtle chiaroscuro effect is achieved. The fine engravings of the demo moon phases and Florentine lilies further enhance this stunning design.
